Should Mr Delauter decide to run for office again, the FNP should honor his wishes and not use his name in any way during his campaigns. If he wanted to buy ad space, take his money, but don't use his name in the ads.

Well Frederick, it did not take long for the political misfits to expose the world to our local dilemma. I could not have been more disappointed in my community after the elections. Kirby is presently showing us all why I was disappointed and it will not be long before Billy steps on his also. What a way for our community's Charter Government To Start. This story is getting national attention due to the attack on newspapers and free speech, so it is funny to think of how Kirby and his supporters (Jill, Farrell, Paul?) might be prepping him to respond. 1) Billy complains to Bethany about the key "incident", I imagine to spin up something negative about Jan Gardner

I'd like to remind Councilman Delauter that at the last Council Meeting (12/16/14) discussion surrounded the use of individual's names being openly mentioned during discussion and whether it was appropriate to specifically i.d. individuals during said discussions. It was your position that (I paraphrase here) "as a public official, you subject yourself to scrutiny by the residents of the county, since you are in effect on the county payroll and working for the county residents". Well, does the mentioning of your name in the local newspaper not carry the same weight? You're an elected official and on the county's payroll. Are you not subject to the same scrutiny you espoused in the 12/16/14 meeting?

Can we please move on with more substantive matters , drop this petty behavior and work collectively with the Council and new County Executive. So, all reasonable people will see this latest tantrum from Delauter as a way to draw attention so that he can plead that anyone who disagrees with him is wrong. This lets him energize the fanatic fans and divert those who are trying to move Frederick County ahead. Given how in lock step Kirby has been with Billy before, one must ask if they have coordinated the latest 'tempest in a teapot' about keys and parking.
